Peru is one of the best countries for mountain biking on earth.  We have the Andes Mountain Range, the longest mountain chain on earth that divides Peru into three main regions: the Coast, the Andes and the Jungle.  Peru has also a rich cultural heritage, with civilizations that lived 5,000 years ago and of course the Inca Empire that has more than 500 years old.  They have left us thousands of kilometers of incredible trails for all types of mountain biking.  With all this features, our tour will not only be just mountain biking.  We will have without doubt the best trails for downhilling and in addition one of the best landscapes on earth with incredible valleys, deep canyons and big mountains.  Also we will have the opportunity to visit the most important Inca sites and of course ride many kilometers of real Inca trails with more than 500 years old.

In this tour we will enjoy big downhills as the ones we have near the coast with more than +3,000 meters (10,000 ft.) of vertical descent.  We start our tour in Lima riding in our first three days almost 10,000 meters of vertical descent (32,808 ft.), an unbeatable preparation for the high-altitude trails in Cusco and of course for the Megavalanche race.  We are going to climb gradually until we reach altitudes similar to the Megavalanche race: 4,450 masl or 14,600 ft.  We will also have a free day to visit Machu Picchu or maybe start riding the Megavalanche course to get used to the different obstacles on this amazing trail.
